DRACULA (15)

The jewel in Hammers crown remains the finest adaptation of Bram Stokers novel. Christopher lee is the definitive Count Dracula - seductive, aristocratic and frightening. Peter Cushing as Professor Van Helsing is a worthy nemesis in a beautifully crafted exercise in screen chills from director Terence Fisher. 1958 (82 mins)
THE PLAGUE OF THE ZOMBIES (15)
A professor arrives in a cornish village to investigate mysterious deaths and discovers that the local squire is practicing voodoo & raising the dead to work as slaves in his tin mine. Director John Gilling creates a chilling atmosphere through stunning camerawork & eerie resurrection sequences in this 1966 classic. (91 mins)
FRANKENSTEIN CREATED WOMAN (15)
Experimenting with soul transference, Baron Frankenstein transfers the soul of his wrongly executed assistant into the body of his dead girlfriend. Now reborn, she uses her charms to seek bloody revenge for her dead lover. Peter Cushing is on top form in this 1967 entry in the Frankenstein series. (86 mins)
THE DEVIL RIDES OUT (15)
Adapted from Dennis Wheatleys novel about an aristocrats battle with satanists, this is quintessential Hammer with Christopher lee on the side of good. This 1968 production with haunting music & a cracking climax is one of Hammers finest moments with Charles Gray as the sinister master satanist. (95 mins)
